I tried classes that suited my skills, and I also wanted to gain knowledge from other students within the major.
What are your career goals and desired profession?
My goal is to go into the advertising industry and become a marketing management director.
How has your experience at contributed to your personal growth?
I believe my experiences helped contribute to my personal growth by improving my emotional intelligence (with work, school, and home) and not being afraid to seek help. Before attending , I thought I was already a well-rounded person, but faculty and students saw the potential in me, and I keep challenging myself. I think about how I can improve myself every day.
If you met someone new and had to describe yourself in one sentence, what would you say about yourself?
I am always willing to support anyone (with resources and/or advice), reassuring them that it’s okay to ask questions and lean on others.
What is one word to describe your experience?
Flourishing.
What are your favorite student experiences at ? Why?
One out of many of my favorite experiences was doing the UBUNTU program and gaining a strong connection with the Center for Inclusive Excellence. I’ve met the most life-changing people there and created many fond memories with students and faculty. It is a place on campus where I can comfortably be myself without caution.
